Bornature is bringing awareness to a new level of fabric; 100% recycled nylon, a fabric we made ourselves over the course of five years. This is a fabric crafted from recycled raw materials. We take these old materials and give them a new life — making them new again!
So how do we actually create this special fabric? It begins with me gathering old materials. We collect all kinds of stuff, like fishing nets, carpets and other waste from factories that would be thrown away. Once we receive these materials they go through extensive cleaning so they can be repurposed properly. After that, we smash it into small parts called fibers. Then these microfibers are expertly twisted together into our breakthrough 100% recycled nylon fabric. This new fabric is as strong and durable as regular nylon, but it’s far better for our planet and the environment!
Now, you might ask yourself, what brought us to produce 100% recycled nylon in the first place? The secret to respond: WE LOVE OUR EARTH SO WE WANT TO HELP! And when we use the materials that already exist, we don’t have to spend as much new resources on making new things. That helps save our planet's resources, since it means we use less energy and water during our production process! This also means less waste is going to landfills, thereby keeping our environment clean. Also, recycling reduces pollution so we can have clean air and water for us all!
