How to enable suppliers and customers to reach a common environmental awareness

At Bornature, we think that every individual can do their part to support our lovely planet. We all have our part to play. The way we select ingredients for our products and how kindly we package them please be assured that, on every single step of a product life-cycle from A to Z, we strive to provide you the best. And we constantly search for reason to reduce our footprint on this world. Yet, we know that we cannot achieve this on our own. This is why we want to work with suppliers closely as well as customers. We can reflect on the environment and how we could help to Save it.

It is really important that we all communicate.

The most important things that we do is to have communication with each other. Communication implies exchanging our thoughts, emotions and ideas. By communicating freely and frankly with our partners, we can express our concerns as well as come up with viable solutions in collaboration. Part of that is just talking about how we plan to be more sustainable. It also means considering how we can keep waste lower and pollution down along the methods we retrieve our resources and distribute our goods.

We learn from each other by sharing what we do. If one of our partners discovers a new method for waste minimization, we want to know about it! Sharing recycled fabric ideas is one of the best ways to do better and also help in strengthening the environment more.

Setting Goals Together

An essential component of collaboration is establishing shared objectives. At Bornature, we first determine our goal. We will, for example, say that we will cut a specific percent from what carbon we put out by each year. Once we know what we want to achieve, we ask our suppliers and customers to establish goals of their own that reflect ours.

It represented, for example, an intention to produce less waste, reduce pollutants or the use of more eco-friendly materials. When we are working towards the same goals that is a sense of team. Everyone feels responsible to making our planet better.

Aiding in Changes for our Partners

Goal-setting is easy but no one celebrates it, rather people celebrate results. And this is why we think it is important to give our partners an opportunity to act and reform. We want to help them slide into something a little more sustainable. This could involve getting them trained or providing them with resources that can assist their decision making in an environmentally friendly way. We may even incentivize them to do better.

For instance, we may partner with a sustainability fabric supplier to move them onto renewable energy sources such as wind or solar. We can also place some of our efforts in investing in machinery that deserves less energy. Together, we can all lessen our own impact on the planet while helping our partners implement these positive changes aligned to our common goals.

Collaborate for a Sustainable Tomorrow

Having an open, collaborative environment is critical to our success. By sharing what we are each doing to promote our environment we can be more accountable with one another. >>> This means we can grow together.

It is our utmost approach at Bornature to engage in a candid discussion with all of our partners. We hope they will as well. It could mean sharing key information Auditors will want regarding our emissions, or our Circularity. Projects that we can do together, in other areas: sustainability. When we collaborate together this way, we benefit our whole supply chain.

Using Technology to Connect

Finally, we think that there is a very important place and part for technology involved to help enable people working better together. We can make digitally connected to our partners by using the digital platforms and tools. Saves us the time to share critical details as well thoughts direct.

We could, for example, build a digital ecofriendly fabric dashboard to measure how we are doing against some of our targets around the environment. This information can be communicated to our suppliers and customers so that they understand how we are performing. Or we could start using a virtual space for other companies with the same sustainability objective like us. We can also join forces on common projects.

Ultimately, collaboration on environmental care needs deep communication, coordination and transparency. We rely on our suppliers and customers to find eco-efficient solutions, together we can make an impact in saving our planet. We can create a cleaner, greener future for all — that's something to aim for!
